send/receive in Outlook elicits "not implemented" box

After inadvertently moving an older version of Microsoft Outlook to my new
Vista-run PC, I removed the old program. Now, when I click on send/receive I
get a message that states "not implemente" and there is no e-mail response.

Uninstall all evidence of any Outlook and reinstall the one you want.
