send / receive operation failed

(Define a send/receive interval and Outlook will check for mail on startup.
Tools>Options>Mail Setup>Send/Receive. Check "Schdule and automatic
send/receive every" and enter a value no less than about ten minutes.)

My Problem was i can receive mail but once i click on send / receive it
shows the operation failed. Friends i need help..

No other errors? What does the Errors tab of the Progress window show?

Thank you Brian, my problems have been solve. There was a problem with my
server..but not with my computer .Now it's back to normal.thanks again
