send receive problem

I am trying to configure Outlook 2002 on a new machine. I set up the account
for my pop3 account and tested the settings. I get no errors from the test,
but I can't send or receive from the button or actions menu. I get a
response that says "operation failed". I get that when I try other things.
too. I can use outlook express to send and receive. Any ideas? I have
reinstalled outlook twice and gotten the updates.

Try creating a new profile, per
