Send\ Receive time Interval

I have problem with my Microsoft Outlook 2000 as the new e-mails didn't
arrive until i click on send\receive icon ...

Please advise on this issue...

please watch here
TOOLS > OPTIONS > EMAIL SETUP > click the Button SEND/RECEIVE
there you can define all you need.
