send to bluetooth doesn't work

In the past, I have sent my contact info to my phone via "send to bluetooth"
(since this is the only way my phone accepts it). The option no longer
responds. Nothing happens when I choose it from the file menu. I have tried
everything I can think of, but I might have brain block. Any ideas out there?
