send to email in 2003 format?

Is there away to add a menu option to send to email in the 2003 format? So
that the attachment to the email from the office program is attached in the
2003 format.

Sorry, but 2003 is not an "e-mail format". There is "Plain Text", "Rich
Text Format" and "HTML" that's all. And the type used is your default
setting in Outlook.

If you are using Office '07 products are you clicking the Office button and
then clicking Send then E-mail? If so you have to set the default for the
program that you are using to the Save As '97-2003 format by default. Do
that by clicking the Office button and then the *Program* Options at the
bottom of the window. Click Save and then in the Save files in this format
drop down select the '97 - 2003 format. *Program* means either Word,
PowerPoint or Excel.

Then when you click the "send to" it will default to the .doc, .ppt or .xls
format instead of the docx, pptx or xlsx format.

If this is not what you were doing, please tell us exactly how you are
trying to send the email attachment.
