M.Rafat

Hi
I use Firefox as my main Browser . In IE there is an icon " Send to OneNote
" , but this is not working in Firefox.
Is it possible to have this option on Firefox ?
Thanks for your help in advance.
Best wishes

I believe that there is no "Send to OneNote" button for firefox, however if
you will notice, there is a "Send to OneNote" printer so what you can do is
to print from Firefox to the "Send to OneNote" printer.

Hope this one helps.

There is a "Clip to OneNote" Firefox plugin (Google that term), but it
hasn't officially been updated for Firefox later than 1.5. You can
probably find an updated copy via Google though.
It works with OneNote 2007.

The Clip to OneNote doesn't work with versions of FF >1.5
There is some discussion on the net about how to modify the addin, but I
didn't succeed (not very gifted) and I found no modified version on the net
As for printing to ON, this results in an uneditable copy, which is not what
you necessarily want.
So, all in all, there is no good FireFox solution - pretty amazing actually.
Perhaps some MVP could find 5 mins to update the thing and post it?!

The problem is taking someone else's code, modifying it and reposting it.

That is how I see it...it is a really easy fix as the install XML has a
MaxVersion which is set to 1.5 and that is pretty lame. You can change it
yourself...or if an MVP wants to they can do so. I just didn't want to put
my name on that hack : )

Thanks Daniel,
With proper acknowledgment, I don't see that this minuscule change would be
a problem. But it is your webpage.
Would you be willing to mail it offlist to me?

You could use the Print function. One Note2007 installs a printer for this,
which you can use from any application.

The only problem with that is if I don't want the whole page but rather just
a selection
