Using Office 2003, specifically Excel 2003, is there a way to send a
document, or documents, to the printer by selecting them, right clicking and
choosing send to .. printer from within the fil, open dialog?
Trying to perform this operation, I receive the error "command selected is
not available from this shortcut menu".
I have installed SP1, and applied the registry change as document KB834681
suggested with no luck. The error no longer occurs, but nothing prints
either.
If I attempt to select a document from within Explorer and select send to
printer, everything works fine.
From within the file, open dialog in Excel and a document selected:
Right-click, select print - does nothing.
Right-click, select send to, select printer shortcut - does nothing.
Select prtint from the tools menu prints the document(s).
I know it is a minor quibble but is annoying nonetheless and I have several
users complaining about this. Old habits die hard I suppose.
Any ideas? Fixes? Much appreciated.
