Sending and flagging messages

1. When I flag a message, the flag is only visible if the thread is
expanded. Is there a way to flag the main topic of the thread so that if the
thread is collapsed the flag will still display?

2. Why does it display Schedule ³send & receive all² will run in 8 minutes
In the lower right corner of the window? Does this mean that it will do it
automatically in 8 minutes? Can it be set up so that it is always checking
and downloading mail?

No, I don't think so.

Yes.

Can it be set up so that it is always checking
and downloading mail?

You can adjust the interval if you wish. Go to Tools > Schedules, and open
the "Send & Receive All" schedule. Under "Occurrences", you can change the
repeating schedule interval.

No, I don't think so.

POP messages stored 'on your computer' will show an outline flag against the
main folders when they are collapsed, but this does not work for IMAP
folders. I suspect that this is a bug. Report it using 'send feedback' under
the Help menu.
