sending and receiving emails from only outlook

i can send emails from Outlook (not bigpond) however I can only receive
emails via bigpond (not outlook)

How can i only use one service?

You start outlook and use the test accounts option, in whatever version you
are using, then post back any err.msg
BTW Outlook is a mail handler, not a mail account, & I assume by bigpond you
mean you can access your mail via their web interface
