Sending attachments w/Outlook2003

My thanks to anyone who can assist. I am using Netscape.com as my ISP and it
is dial-up account. I can receive messages with large attachments, 5-8MB,
but it will not transmit same files if I want to forward. Always times out
and I have set it as high as it will go (10 min). I have tried everything as
far as SSL and secure authenication and nothing works.

If you have a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook, disable this
integration and try again.

I should have mentioned in my original post that I had disabled Norton. My
bad, sorry and thanks!

Disabling Norton is not the same as disabling its integration with Outlook.
What exactly did you disable?

Not sure of the integration aspect you are speaking of. Outgoing mail scans
are always disabled. Live update and auto protect are currently disabled.
