Sending attachments with tracking

Hello,
When a file is undergoing review by many people who are
geographically in other area who might have different
versions of Word, does this affect the tracking feature?
Would you recommend using tracking or sticking with a more
traditional highlighting of infornmation and typing
comments wihtin the file in a different color font? The
files we send are usually aboyut 40-70 pages long.

Track Changes or "revision marking" is available, in one form or another, in
every version of Word that people are likely to be using. The way comments
and tracked changes are displayed may vary (Word 2002 and 2003 can use
balloons; earlier versions don't), but everyone should be able to use the
feature pretty much the same way.
