I'm away from home on a laptop using a Comcast (formerly Adelphia) wireless
connection. I am able to receive e-mails but not send them ... I get the 550
relaying not allowed message. I've seen the 10/11/2006 posting from Kelly
and tried her solution of using "mail.charter.net" instead of
"smtp.charter.net" and it doesn't work for me. I had no problem at home when
I was connected directly to Charter. I've also contacted Charter (live Chat)
and they say they cannot help - it's an Outlook problem ... maybe I didn't
ask the right question, or maybe I need to contact Comcast. Please help !!
