sending e-mail

i am having trouble sending email. i am not at my home, but can receive
messages fine.i have a message on the bottom right corner that says
connecting to "smtp.comcast.net" but nothing happens. i know i am not giving
you much to go on, but i am stumped.

Suggest you call Comcast support. Your ISP may not accept outgoing mail
unless you are connected using their net.
