Sending email from within access?

Is there a way to send a series of email messages (invoices, for example) to
all customers, using access? I know that there are objects available that
will do this from, for example, a vb script, using the access db as a source
for the email addresses, But, I am interested in doing it without 3rd party
software.

Any ideas or pointers to information?

If you are using one of the security patched versions of Outlook on your PC
you will be prompted to allow progammatic access to email each time you use
this. If you are sending multiple emails (e.g. one email to each customer)
this gets pretty tedious. There are various methods for circumventing this
but vary depending on whether you are using Exchange or not.

Thanks for the info but, I believe most customers will be using outlook
express rather than outlook as their client.
