sending email newsletter

M

Mark Garrett

If I am understanding the instructions correctly, I should be able to go to
File, then Send E-Mail, and then do various things (e-mail preview, send this
page as mesage, etc.) When I point to the Send E-mail, the only option I have
is: Send Publication as Attachment. No other options are available.

I am trying out publisher because I want to use it to send out an email
newsletter, not as an attachment but as one that opens directly in the email.

You need to have Outlook 2003 or Outlook Express 6 or later set as your
default email client in order to accomplish this from Publisher 2003.

You need to have Outlook 2002 or Outlook Express 6 or later set as your
default email client in order to accomplish this from Publisher 2002.

Before you get too far into this, are you aware you can only send a one
page newsletter like this? (It's a common problem we see here.)

Yeah, 2003 allows up to 2003 yards, or about 6009 feet. :)

Hmmm... Publisher 2000 I believe has a 20 foot limit. Newer versions
allows more?

Just because I was willing to create a 135 feet email doesn't mean I'm going
to create a 6009 feet email!
