Sending failure to recipinet form contacts list

I am using vitsa home premium, office 2007 enterprise ad norton internet
security 2008. All issues are the same regardless of Norton as they occur
even without Norton installed.

I have been through all similar questions and have had some help finding the
source of my problem but unfortunaltey not yet resolved.

As it now stands, when i try to send a mail to anyne from the contact list
(by pressing the TO ot CC button and then searching and sleecting contacts)
the mail stays in my outbox and a synchronizing folders operation starts and
never ends.

When i type in the sme address manually, the mail is sent without a hitch

I use only pop3 mails and do not connect to an exchange server.

I would apprecaite any an all assistance to resolve this issue.

an exteral hard disk.

When i purchased a new laptop, it came with Vista Home Premium. I installed
the same office 2007 enterprise. I imported the pst files to my new laptop. I
then set up a new profile for outlook. Next i set up data files to point to
the existing pst files that contained my contact data.

Bingo. I knew you would figure it out. Hopefully by now you've read the
countless posts in this group that clearly tell you that you _never_ import
Outlook data, unless you want to lose or corrupt it.
By now I'm sure you've also discovered what you need to do. Use your backup
and migrate it correctly: Create a new Outlook profile, open that file, set
it as your default, Restart Outlook, and configure your Outlook Address
Book. Posts abound to answer your questions.

created over 2 months ago, I will loose a lot of infromation. YOu will note

It is unlikely that your data file is corrupted. It is far more likely that
your profile is corrupted. Just create a new profile and set it to use your
current data file.

Ok, followed your advice. I now have a new profile and using my existing pst
file. This was done by following the Microsoft document on how to set up a
new profile. No more synchronization problems but mail stays in outbox and
will not send is addressee is selected from contacts instead of typed in
manually.

It is unlikely that your data file is corrupted. It is far more likely that
your profile is corrupted. Just create a new profile and set it to use your
current data file.

Then you need to figure out why. Most likely the email addresses were
corrupted when you did you exporting and importing. Open a Contact. Examine
the email address. See if it is valid and resolved. If it is, save the
Contact and try to send a message to that Contact and see what happens.
