Sending messages to shared contacts

I have a problem very similar to others in this forum and although I have
followed all the suggestions, it is to no avail. Here is the scenario:

-A shared mailbox has been set up with it's own contacts
-There are several "owners" of this shared mailbox
-I have full owner permission to this mailbox
-I sometimes have to send email messages to several of the contacts from the
shared mailbox as do several other users
-I have followed the instructions on adding another users contacts to my own
address book display
-I still can not get the shared contacts book to display in my own address
book
-Using OL 2003 with exchange server
