Sending MS Outlook Email

Just set up MS Outlook 2000. Get the following message:
The TCP/IP connection was unexpectedly by the server. (Account:
'mail.xxxxxx.com', SMTO Server: 'mail.xxxxxx.com', Error Number: 0x800ccc0f).

Please help me fix this.
