Sending notice of hit to a customer

I want to be able to automatically send an email to a
client when a visitor clicks on my link to his website.
Customer wants to know when I do send a visitor to his

The link will have to refer to a dynamic pages such as ASP that will send the email then redirect to the link on the other site.
