sending out a file

I have a user that after entering some data in the database, she would then
click on "file" and send it out via email as an excel spreadsheet. SHe used
to be able to do it, now, she gets an error.
I forget the exact phrasing of teh error, but it says somethign to teh
effect of" This operation didn't work due to the precceding message"
Well, there was no preceeding message. Other people can do it.
I made sure she has Outlook open, and excel etc.. still no go.
I even tried sending it out in a format other than Excel and it still give
me the same error.

What do I need to do to fix this???

Most like it is done by code in your database since creating an Excel file
and sending this file are 2 different actions.

You need to post the *exact* error message (and error number, if possible),
the relevant code and which line of code errored out so that newsgroup
participants can have a look for you.

Also, the OS / Access / Excel versions used.

DoCmd.SendObject can send a table or query as an Excel workbook
attachment.

I forgot about SendObject. However, it is still VBA code and we need to see
the code.
