Since I have installed a LAN connection. I can receive emails but cannot send
them. The message comes up saying :Your server has unexpectedly terminated
the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network
problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'pop1.ns.sympatico.ca',
Server: 'smtp1.ns.sympatico.ca', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No,
Error Number: 0x800CCC0F
Any ideas????? I could use some help.

And what does your ISP say when you ask them what the problem is on their end?

Hi Milly Staples. Thanks for your response. No I have asked my ISP about it
and they thought(without coming here) that it would have something to do with
my email program, which is Outlook Express 6. I recently had an LAN installed
and am just trying it for now as it allows me to have fast internet. I still
have my dial-up on there also, but only go online with that to send mail as
LAN will not do that.
Why ould it regonize it to receive and not send. Don't understand it. I
thought I might have clecked something off somewhere.

Try posting this in an Outlook Express news group - this is not one of them.
Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.

You can also find some good Outlook Express information here:
