Sending ZIP files with Entourage

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: Exchange Every time I attempt to send a .zip file as an Entourage attachment, the file arrives at the Windows Outlook destination with a ".zm9 + a bunch archive info" extension. E.g., It won't just send a .zip as is.

What am I missing?? It's making the use of .zip archives impossible. Is this happening in Entourage or maybe the receiving Outlook???

In Entourage preferences, what do you have selected under "Compose"?
