Sendobject via hotmail or msn

I have a macro that executes the sendobject command using the Excel format.
This works fine if the user uses Outlook, but gets blocked if the user is
using msn or hotmail. Any suggestions?

what do you mean "gets blocked"?

Outlook does block certain types of attachments. This happens even if you
manually attach a file. If that is what you are talking about, then it has
nothing to do with Access and should be taken up in an Outlook newsgroup.

A fellow Access developer, Francisco Tapia, has created a small sample
database that uses Blat to email reports. You can find the sample in the
Other Developer's Library on my website, here:
http://www.rogersaccesslibrary.com/OtherLibraries.asp#Tapia,Francisco

Try downloading it and see if you can figure it out. Direct any questions
to Francisco.

The hotmail screen comes up just fine and shows the excel file properly as an
attachment, but after I click send it changes the xls file to a tmp file and
never makes it to the receipient. I understand this is probably a hotmail
issue, but I still need help on this . I have 15 users running this macro,
and everyone using Outlook is doing just fine. It's the guys using msn or
hotmail

If it is not an Access issue, then we can't help you here. You indicate
that the Access side of things is working just fine.

Suggest you post to a newsgroup for the software package you are using. As
far as I know, hotmail is an email service, not a software package. Are
they using Outlook, Outlook Express, Lotus Notes...? Post your question in
the newsgroup related to the software.
