Sent items aren't saved even though specified in Imap folder

Using Outlook 2007, I selected an Imap folder to save sent items into, but
nothing appears. Is there something else I should be doing?

Is the folder subscribed to?

Yes, I can see the folder, but it's empty and in my work I send a lot of
emails every day. I checked the sent items in Personal Folders and it's empty
as well.
