Sent Items saving in wrong folder

Outlook 2002 from Office XP sitting on windows 98, all
fully updated.

When I reply to a message in any folder other than my
Inbox the sent message saves in the folder which I replied
from and not the Sent Items folder where it should go. How
do I fix this?

Just uncheck the option to save replies with the original message.
That's in Tools > Options > E-mail options > Advanced Email options...
