Sent Items STILL incomplete

I am running Outlook 2000, I have set my e-mail messages
to be saved in Sent Items, and Auto-archive is not an
issue (set at 14 days). Unfortunately, the only messages
that are showing in my Sent Items are either forwards or
replies. No e-mails originating from this computer are
showing up in the list. Am looking for answers that don't
involve firearms! Any and all ideas are welcome.

do a search using find in the file nemu to see if the
email is going elsewhere first it could be somehow the
sent mail is being saved elsewhere.
