Sent Items

Hiya

I was wondering if someone can help me please..........

I am reponsible for analysis and reporting off emails send into the inbox.
I need to find out the time and date each email is sent to us and the time
and date we have replied. Instead of going into each email in the sent items
folder to check the dates and times... is there a way that the information
can be displayed automatically....

Can it be displayed where the rest of the rest of the information is listed
(sort ascending/descending);

To Subject Sent (**** Need time and date replied ****)

Please can someone help!!

Kind Regards

Roze

I hope I understand your issue.

Open Outlook.
click on INBOX
At the top of each colums where it reads, From -- Subject, etc. RIGHT
CLICK at the top of any column.
On the menu that pops up choose, LEFT CLICK -- FIELD CHOOSER

A small window will pop up.
Look on that list for the info you want to see, such as SENT.

LEFT CLICK on the category and DRAG it up to the columns that are labeled --
From, Subject etc. Then let go.

Now you will see the sent times for those emails. You can repeat this for
any other categories you want to view.

I hope this helps. Take care---

I'll give it a try... but from the field chooser which one would I need to
select in order to tell me the time the email was sent to me and the time i
replied.... and would i need to do this on the sent items??? as that's the
emails I'm trying to do my analysis on???

Thank you for your help so far

Hey there Roze,

You can do this on the SENT ITEMS folder just by clicking on SENT ITEMS, and
clicking and dragging as I stated before.

Your other problem confuses me. You ask--
but from the field chooser which one would I need to
select in order to tell me the time the email was sent to me and the time i
replied....

The Sent folder is where copies of the emails YOU send are stored. Emails
that are SENT TO YOU, are stored either in the INBOX or in another folder you
have designated.

If you do what I described on the emails that have been sent to you (the
emails in the INBOX), I don't believe there are any categories that allow
you to see when the SENDER sent the message to you. I believe you will only
be able to see when you RECEIVED the email.

Take care---
