Are you looking in Sent Items on your IMAP server rather than in Sent Items
On My Computer? Entourage puts them on the server.

Which Sent Items folder are you checking? The one on the IMAP server or
the one On My Computer? Do the messages turn up if you do a search in
Entourage?

Hi Ed, I was checking in "On my computer" but h
ave since found them in another folder, feeling a bit dumb but thanks for clearing it up :)

My problem is a bit different in that the 'Sent Items' emails I send today don't show up until 24hrs have passed. But if I login to OWA (Exchange 2003) via webmail, the items are listed.

Whay does Entourage delay the filing of emails in the Sent Items folder?

If I may nitpick your semantics, it appears that Entourage is filing
the messages just fine (since you can see them in OWA), but it's not
refreshing the folder list regularly.

Are these messages you're sending in Entourage? Because Entourage
actually displays a message immediately in Sent Items - in fact before
it syncs them *back* to the server.

Regardless, try clearing out your Sent Items folder cache by
control-clicking it and choosing Folder properties. You may also want
to clear out your entire Exchange server cache by control-clicking the
server name in your folder list.
