Sent Mail, 'From' field

My sent messages randomly show either myself or my wife as sender in the
'from' field. How can I eliminate one of our names?

Well if you have two email accounts set up and are both sending emails in
the same profile, then it would, wouldn't it? You have two options - create
another Sent folder and use a Rule to move items sent from one of the
accounts to it, or set up a separate Mail profile for the other mail
account.
