sent messages go into local failures.

I am having a problem with new messages going into "local failures" after you
open the sent message in the new folder that was created and selected using
the "Save Sent Item" under options.
This is a bug for all Outlook 2007 using Exchange and all components are
patched and updated.

TRY IT
create a new mail folder
open a new message
click options
click Save Sent Item
select the new folder you created
send the message
goto the folder
open the message and watch it disappear
go to the contact and look at the history
you will find the message in the "Local Failures"

I have replicated this problem with rules on or off and also in safe mode.
You can then move the message into the "new folder" and it will stay.
Weird.
Thanks,
John

yes the machines are in cached mode
and the folder has had enough time to replicate.

Are you using cache mode? Is the folder replicated on the Exchange server?
