Sent Messages Lose Subject Line

I have a user. Sometimes, when she sends an email, the receiver has the
subject line on their end, however in the senders, sent folder, the subject
line is blank.

It is Outlook 2003, Windows XP, Using an Exchange server. Doesn't apear to
be the same person or the same software at the other end.
Any ideas?

If you open the message in the Sent folder, is the Subject line there?
What about in OWA?
How reproducible is the problem? 'Sometimes' can have many different
meanings.
