Series in a chart

How do you convert the series in a chart from rows to columns. Excel
provides this option but I can't find out where to do it in a Powerpoint
chart. I know that it can be done because I have a slide from another
presentation where the series are in columns -- I just can't figure out how
it was done!

Look under the Data menu. There should be options there for "series in rows"
and "series in columns."

Thanks! I knew it had to be somewhere obvious but I guess I just couldn't
see the forest for the trees!

Glad to help. FWIW, there are also two icons for these functions on the
toolbar -- they look kind of like little tables.
