Serious problem with access !

Hi all.

I do not really know which group to post that to .....
When I am in vba window and I type a control's name and set a '.' after it
so far it always came up with some properties etc ....
I don't know what happend or what the reason could be but since a few days -
sometimes - after a dot that dropdown is shown for a part of a second only
and I cannot choose anything from it
(options - editor - checked all)
in addition, sometimes when I type eg a space after a second the space is
taken away and I am at the end of last expression

oh no !!! I work on access 2k SP6 on w2k

please any help or idea as what to do is highly appreciated

This sounds like the problem that has been reported when you edit code while
a form is open that has code in the form's Timer event. If that's the case,
try either closing that form or switching it to design view while you edit
code.

Well, Brendan .... something comes to my mind

I added a clock to it .... I 've just removed it completely
and it looks ok ... or codes ok!!!! :))
