Server 07 tries to connect with Project 03 client

We use Project 03 with PS03 in production, and I'm starting to experiment
with PS07, so I have both Project 03 and Project 07 installed on my PC (PS07
is on a separate dedicated server). Certain PS07 features, such as editing
the standard enterprise calendar, complain that I need to have Project 07
installed and then try to launch Project 03, which of course doesn't work.
Each client is configured to point to the correct server, and the PS07 client
can successfully publish a project. Any ideas? (Other than uninstalling
Project 03, which is still our production version). Thanks.

I think what is happening is your machine thinks that the default winproj.exe
is of Project 2003. It depends on the order which you installed MS Project.
The latest installation always becomes the default. So make sure you have
installed 2007 after 2003 is installed.

Let me know if that works.

I should have mentioned that I'm getting the error:
The following file(s) have been blocked by the administrator:
/pwa/isapi/pjdbcomm.dll

IIS doesn't have any Project Server extensions listed under "Web Service
Extensions", just ASP.net 1.1 & 2.0 and SharePoint Servces V3. Could that be
the problem? How do I install those?

Thank you, Gagan. It looks like that was indeed the problem. But as a
result now I can't open Project 2003 from PWA03, probably for the same
reason. That's annoying but not a show-stopper; I just have to open a
project from within the Project 2003 Client.
