Server Application Error When Trying To Edit Graphs

I tried it both ways, with the quotation marks as shown in
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00387.htm and without. The run statements
I tried are:

regsvr32 /u "C:\Program Files\Norton SystemWorks\Norton
AntiVirus\officeav.dll†and regsvr32 /u C:\Program Files\Norton
SystemWorks\Norton AntiVirus\officeav.dll

Sounds like you're putting quotation marks someplace where they
don't belong in the Run command. Please quote the exact command
you're typing, and maybe we can get this sorted out. The
problems you're citing are classic symptoms of the Norton
Antivirus Office Plugin, and disabling the plugin usually solves
the problem.

message, "LoadLibrary(C:\Program") failed. The specify module cannot be
found."

your Norton AntiVirus directory.

will give the Start|Run approach a try.

Did you disable the DLL via Start|Run, or did you just turn it off in the
software itself? I'd recommend turning it off and then disabling the DLL via
Start|Run, just to make sure.

presentation were generated with MS Graph. I can edit some of graphs and
some of the graphs are even on the same slides.

No, I don't. But I'd probably start with disabling the Norton AntiVirus
Office plug-in, if you use Norton/Symantec, and reregistering MS Graph.
Those are easy things to do, and they don't take a whole lot of effort or
mess anything up on the system.

quotation marks:

In your post, the closing quote mark looks like some sort of
extended ascii or unicode character that the Run command might
not recognize as a closing quote mark. If you're copying and
pasting the command into the Run box, then manually delete the
quotation marks and retype them.

Unfortunately, when I tried the round tripping on the complete file, I was
not able to get rid of the error. I tried the round tripping technique with
PowerPoint 2000, PowerPoint 2003, and PowerPoint 2004 for Mac. In all cases,
when I opened the file in PowerPoint 2003, I still could not edit some of the
graphs.

message:

I went back in to Norton AntiVirus to enable the Office plug-in. Then I ran
the regsvr32 /u command again. This time I was successful. I guess because
the Norton AntiVirus software had already disabled the officeav.dll, it could
not disable it twice.

The bad news is the problem with the graphs still persists.
