Server connection times out

When publishing my web to a Windows 2000 server,
everything seems to be going fine until about 2minutes
into the process,at which point I receive the
message, "The server connection timed out".
I have checked Microsoft Technet etc. and cannot find any
workable answers. The 1 or 2 references to this message
gave no suggestions that apply.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

My experience with this is that it is a problem with your web hosting
service.

I had this problem. My web host had the uptodate frontpage server
extensions but I had frontpage 2002 server extensions on my pc that
were out of date. After trying all the advice there is out there for
several days, I finally found the updated frontpage 2002 server
extensions on the microsoft web site, downloaded them, and installed
them. Fixed the problem!
