Good Day Friends,
I am in the process of redoing my web site. I also just completed a change
of domain name with my web hosting service. The new domain name has now
propogated so I attempted to publish some web site changes so that the site
itself would reflect the new domain name. I had already changed the wording
so I tried to publish the web site to the web (using the new domain name).
I opened FP 2003, and made the needed changes to point the software to the
new username and password. The publish operation seems to start normally, but
it then presents a list of files that are in conflict between what is on the
remote server and my local machine. I told FP to overwrite the destination
server files with the replacemtnts. The opertion seemst to continue until it
reaches a file, such as "charges.htm" (one of the pages in my web site) at
which point I get a message box which reads "Server Error, Cannot open file
"charges.htm" for writing, at which point the publish operation terminates. I
don't know if the change in domain name has anything to do with this or not
but need to resolve this. I wouold appreciate your help in solving this.
Thanks in Advance,
Neal Duitz
