Server error: Virtual Hosts for FrontPage 2000

S

Sean Michael

I can not save any more in my edit page. I inadverdantly
deleted my home page. Thank God I had another browser
explorer up to refresh my additions on full access,
instead of my edit view. So I copied the open browser from
my home page and pasted it to a new page in my frontpage.
You can access my intro page which is a .html and go into
my home page which is a .htm same with all other links.
However, I can't seem to correct the issue to save any new
edited information. A server error comes up. Server
error:"virtualhosts/youthexplosion4christ.com/www/_vti_cnf/
..home.htm.tmp" for writing. Please help!

You can try opening the remote site directly in FrontPage and then:

Choosing Recalcualte Hyperlinks from the Tools menu.

Choosing Site Settings from the Tools menu, then clicking Advanced. Under
Temporary Files, Delete Files.

However, the likelihood is that you'll need to contact your host and have
them stop and start the Web server.
