Server error: Write error on file "xxxxxx.jpg.tmp"

Every time I try to save a page I get the following
error: "Server error: Write error on file "xxxxxxxx" WHAT
IS THIS AND WHY IS IT DOING THIS TO ME?! Please, please
help - this guy is going to fread if I don't get these
changes done tonight!

Have you contacted the host and had them run a check on the extensions
and/or check the permissions.

Also are you out of space?

Note: Space allotment can include files that you are not aware of, such as
server stat files and how a host applies the FP extensions to accounts.

Tried to contact host, closed until am... I was hoping,
based on "server error" that it was the host's end -
certainly a plus in my defense when he starts screaming at
me in the morning! It never occurred to me that they might
be out of space... just took over maintenance of the
account.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. And i have a
suggestion - there should be a 'glossary' of error
messages available on the MS knowledgebase, really.

You can always in the IE address bar type:

? Server error: Write error on file

or

? Error 550

etc.
