I understand your objective is to get the FP 2002 SE installed under Win 2000
- Start by removing the FP 2000 SE from IIS (Control Panel - Add Remove Programs - Windows Components - IIS- Details)
- then download and install the FP 2002 SE from
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnservext02/fpse2002win.asp
(install build 5.0.2.2623 then 5.0.2.4803)
For Win 2003 only use the FP SE 2002 from the Win 2003 CD
|I heard from the other gentlemen that I have to use the extensions that ship
| witht the OS since no others are supported. I used the ones from Microsoft's
| download section. I'm trying to get my 2000 machine running first so I can
| test before publishing. When I install the extensions here's what I get:
|
| The server administration programs and the server extensions on the web
| server are not compatible. The administration program is too old to use with
| this server.
|
| Thank you for dealing with my ignorance.....
