Server Extensions aren't registering

I am publishing to a server that has the Server Extensions
installed, yet none of the forms, hit counter, discussion
boards, etc. that require Server Extensions work. They
always give the same message: must publish to a web that
has SE. Is there something I need to change on my end or
is this a server problem?

How are you publishing via FP's http or FTP mode?

If you are publishing via FTP, then no FP run-time components will work, and you have most likely
corrupted the extensions, if installed, and if installed you need to have them re-installed and then
use http://www.domainname.com to publish to via FP File Menu | Publish Web / Site command.

In another post in this thread, you told Tom Rowe you were publishing
by FTP. But here, you say you're publishing by HTTP.

My guess is that you're publishing by FTP. Given that, try opening the
remote site directly in FrontPage, then choosing Recalculate
Hyperlinks from the Tools menu. If that doesn't solve the problem,
then ask your host to run Server Health with all the Repair options in
effect, or to remove and reinstall the extensions.

Alternatively, try the advice at:

FrontPage Publish Command Fails
http://www.interlacken.com/winnt/tips/tipshow.aspx?tip=24

Then, forget FTP exists.
