Hi,
I am publishing a browser-enabled InfoPath form that uses a server-relative
data connection library with a couple of udcx files poiting to webservices
(located at a separate web site in the SharePoint, port 83). The udcx files
in the data connection library are approved but when I publish the form and
open it, I get the error "One or more data connection in your form are
specified with server-relative link, but no published location has been
defined for the form. Data connection will retrieve data from the server
specified in design time. To enable server-relative link publish your form to
Microsoft Office server". In my development environment, all works fine. The
only blog post I found related with this error is in
http://www.sharepointkings.com/2008/06/infopath-using-web-service-data.html
but my form doesn't use any code. Another difference from this blog post
scenario from my own is that the web service was published inside the
_layouts virtual directory in SharePoint, which I wasn't able to do so far
because of a series of assembly dependencies I have. However, it doesn't seem
logic that the web service must be published inside SharePoint in order to
work correctly with InfoPath. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this
problem?
Thanks
Miguel
