"Server unexpectedly closed the connection"

I am working within FP 2002, and trying to retrieve the permissions
off of the web server for my web. When I click on Tools -> Security
-> Permissions... , FrontPage spins for about 1-2 minutes, and then it
comes back with the error message "Server unexpectedly closed the
connection". I can open another web, on a different server, and can
retrieve the permissions there fine.

When opening both webs, I'm logging in as administrator. Due to the
fact that it works on one server, and not the other, I'm assuming it's
an issue on the first server, not on my local PC.

Can anyone help with this? Is it maybe an IIS configuration issue?
If you need more info, please let me know. I'm desperate for any
ideas anyone can offer!!!

Thanks in advance!!

Can you open the root Web on the problem server? If so,
do so, then:

1. Choose Server from the Tools menu, and then
Administration Home.
2. Click the Check Server Health link.
3. Check all the check boxes, then click OK.

You might also want to try selecting your subweb from the
list at the bottom of the Site Administration, then
clicking Manage users, and then checking permissions on
your account.

If at any point you find yourself locked out, you need to
contact your host.

Just a guy

I was told by my host that if you are transferring or publishing a
large number of files they will cut off the connection since it bogs
down the server. Those are their words...not mine.

Most hosts have restrictions like this. The answer is to break your
large Web site into multiple small Web sites. For more info, browse:
