SERVER VERSION 97 WORKSTATION 2002

Hello,
Our server runs word'97 and the workstations run word
2002. The normal.dot from the server is loaded into the
startup of the workstion so the macros on the server are
the defaults. Documents open & print correctly from the
workstation but when windows is shut down it generates an
error and wants to recover the document. any ideas?

Not sure about the error, but replacing normal.dot is the wrong way to
go about distributing macros. (I'm surprised none of your users have
come around to the server room with a hatchet. <g>)
