So I did not read this on time, and it now seems that we have some
installation problems: the manage queue page on server settings is not
accessible (gives unknown error and the generic help page link that does not
give any valuable info). Also the administrative restore page gives me the
following error: System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException:
ProjectServerError(s) LastError=AdminReadArchivedProjectsListFailed
Instructions: Pass this into PSClientError constructor to access all error
information
at
Microsoft.Office.Project.Server.WebService.Archive.ReadArchivedProjectsList()

Do you know how to fix this?? do we have to uninstall the patch? if so,
how do we do it??

please advise.

thanks.

Hi there, I am facing the same issue. The Manage Queue is not working. Gives
a Sharepoint Error & the Administrative restore gives the same error as you
have highlighted. I can see another issue with the SQl database on the
server. the Archibe database is stuck in restoration mode. Can this be an
issue.

Can someone suggest.

Note : I have not upgraded my EPM 2007 systems & server to SP1.

We needed to get Microsoft involved. We somehow installed project server
2007 on a sql 2000 database on a machine that had sql 2005 installed... what
happened to us was that we installed sp1, but since the db was not the
correct one, some parts of the install were missing, one of those was the
certificates needed. We fixed this by completely uninstalling sql from the
machine and reinstalling sql2005. We first had to backup all DBs and the
entire sharepoint system. The microsoft guys guides us through the entire
process.

Hope this helps...
