Service pack 1 won't install

Service pack 1 won't install, keeps looking for no longer
available "data1.msi" file.

i bought the computer from a failed company, with software
installed from their network originally, which is no
longer available...i have a receipt for the purchase.

am i entitled to the update or for that matter usage of
the installed office 2000?

if so, how do i update it?
