Service Pack 3 Installation Error

I have been trying to install Office Service pack 3. I have downloaded the
service pack but when I try to install it, the installation results in an
Office Hotfix error. I believe it is a 1612 error but are not absolutely
sure. (Sequence Click Run: Do You Want To Install–Yes: License-Yes then
after about 15secs of the install window I get a “Send Error Report†window.)
Suggestions please
