set cursor width

I have a fat cursor, more like a narrow rectangle than a line. (when typing
text)How can I reset this? Its making it hard to correctly set cursor to
insert letters.

Click Start, Settings, Control panel, Accessibility Options.
On the Display tab, at the bottom it will have the cursor
options for blink rate and cursor width. Move the slider to
the left. If this doesn't fix your problem I don't know
what else to tell you.
