Set jump stype for connectors

This is maddening.

I set the jump stype for my dynamic connector (I pulled off the tool bar) at
both the page level and the connector level and yet it will not jump.

Any ideas?

Have you used the menu
File -> Page Setup -> Layout and Routing
and set the Line Jumps type there.
Note that any changes only affect new connections, changes aren't
retrospective.
